The CP Croquet season gets under way on Sunday, April 25th with a 1:00 p.m. draw. Singles play will be every Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. through the summer until the light gives out. Wednesday evenings will be for doubles play. (Note that there will be no draw Tuesday, June 1st because of the Rose Bowl Tournament.) Croquet will also share the green with bowling 6:00 p.m. Thursday evenings and 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoons (except where bowling tournaments conflict, i.e. June 6th, June 13th, July 18th, August 15th, August 29th and Septempber 12th).
We will be hosting four tournaments – an invitational Victoria Day, May 22nd, 23rd, and 24th, a Club Singles, Sunday, June 22nd, Club Doubles, August 22nd and our summer season wind-up Grudge Match, September 26th. Daily draws for regular games at the club take place at 1:00 p.m. Be ready in club colours (whites and maroon) at 12:45 p.m. with your name tag on the Draw Board.

Cridge Park provides a half-hectare of valuable green space in downtown Victoria consisting of a lawn bowling green and treed area. The City of Victoria will upgrade Cridge Park this year to better meet the needs of the community. Based on recent input from the community, Parks staff have developed a draft plan to improve Cridge Park which they will present at a Public Meeting for feedback this month. Take this opportunity to participate in the planning process, review proposed improvements, ask questions, and provide feedback on the information presented.
